Nursing is a growing subject area within the Faculty of Health Sciences at The University of Hull. Continued investment in facilities, equipment, and high-quality teaching and research staff has helped build our local, national and international reputation. We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and experienced Lecturer in Nursing/Academic Lead for Placement learning to work with the Nursing Department and NHS partners to support the curriculum development and delivery of both the traditional and Apprenticeship variants of the Adult Nursing programmes. This post has a strong focus on leadership of placement learning across our nursing and nursing associate programmes. In addition the successful candidate will develop the academic curriculum and provide teaching support for complimentary programmes within our portfolio. This post will also involve the supervision of undergraduate and postgraduate students, including practice placements and research. The post holder will have experience in teaching and learning and will meet the essential criteria outlined in the person specification.

You should have excellent organisational, inter-personal, and communication skills, a student-centred approach, and have a passion for research and knowledge exchange activities as well as continued professional development.
