Building on the success and learnings from 2017 the University aims to continue its programme of new, high quality work that celebrates the interdisciplinary nature and academic expertise within the University, while providing a platform for students and staff to showcase their talents and research.

Working across different schools, departments and faculties, Culture Campus brings together the creative capacity at the University of Hull with the aim to curate an engaging and impactful cultural programme.

Connecting academics, students, research and our venues with artists, communities, practitioners and established arts organisations, Culture Campus enables the creation of new innovative work that has research and academic expertise at its heart.

Culture Campus creates opportunities to welcome, speak to and learn from audiences from all walks of life. Our aim is to integrate the University’s cultural programme into the fabric of the city and to make the campus another cultural destination in the city, supporting it as a place of cultural exchange, creation and opportunity. Ideally the applicant will have at least 3 years’ experience creating an exciting programme of events and working collaboratively across different areas. The responsibilities include but are not limited to supporting the Head of Culture Campus in the curation and coordination of the overall Culture Campus University Programme, organise a regular series of on campus ideas laboratories in partnership with organisations in the city, organise a series of talks in collaboration with the Business School, support the delivery and implementation of the audience development plan, support the evaluation of the cultural programme and to develop an artist residency programme.
