The School is located in outstanding premises that combine refurbished listed and newly built buildings, encompassing state-of-the-art facilities for staff and over 3,000 students, and has accreditations from the AACSB and AMBA. The post holder will join the Logistics and Management Systems Subject Group, which offers specialised BSc, MSc, Degree Apprenticeship courses in the area of Logistics and Supply Chain Management. The post is based in Hull.

Hull University Business School is seeking to appoint a Lecturer in Big Data and Business Analytics who will be expected to teach in the areas of Logistics and Supply Chain Management and relevant disciplines (big data, business analytics, decision marking for managers) at the undergraduate, postgraduate and MBA levels. The Business School has an established Centre for Systems Studies (CSS) and a Logistics Institute (LI). The CSS and the LI map broadly to the Logistics and Management Systems subject group and strong applications for the post will come from candidates whose teaching is relevant to Logistics and Supply Chain area. Candidates should hold a higher degree in a relevant subject area or a closely related discipline or equivalent qualifications and/or experience within the subject specialism.
