The Department of Geography, Geology and Environment, Faculty of Science and Engineering at the University of Hull, wishes to appoint a Lecturer in Geology. Applications are invited for a teaching and scholarship position in any area of the discipline, but with a preference for expertise in “hard rock” fields including (but not limited to) igneous petrology and geohazards. The post holder will be required to contribute to field courses (or an equivalent learning experience), and practical skills training. We are aiming to recruit an enthusiastic and engaging geologist, who can support students to achieve their academic potential.
