This post is open to University of Hull staff members or temporary agency workers who are currently working with us and who will have 12 weeks service at the University by the closing date.

We have an opportunity to join a new high-impact research office being established in the Faculty of Health Sciences as a Research Administrator. The Faculty was formed in 2017 and our research interests span biomedical, applied health, clinical specialities and health technology. The Faculty has recently established an Institute for Clinical and Applied Health Research, accompanied by a major investment in academic & clinical academic staff, the establishment of strong methods and research support infrastructure and occupation of the brand new Allam Medical Building.

This is a brand new post and as a Research Administrator you will join a small, high impact research office who have the responsibility to support the Faculty’s research ambitions. You will work closely with principal investigators and research administrators in the faculty to support proposal, pre-award and post-award activities, performance monitoring, research ethics and other research-focussed activities and projects. You will liaise with the University Research & Enterprise Directorate, Finance Directorate, research administrators and NHS partners, including the R&D Department in the Hull & East Yorkshire Hospitals NHS Trust. The role holder will also provide support to the PGR lifecycle from enquiry management to graduation, delivering an excellent and seamless administrative and support experience for Faculty of Health Sciences PGR students. 

We would be particularly interested in receiving applications from people with experience working in Postgraduate Research Student administration.
