Clinical Tutor (0.4 FTE)
Clinical Psychology Doctorate (ClinPsyD) Programme
School of Psychology and Social Work, Faculty of Health Sciences
We are seeking a clinical psychologist to join our ClinPsyD programme team as a clinical tutor to support the day to day running and delivery of the programme. You will join a forward thinking and enthusiastic ClinPsyD team involved in the delivery of first-class professional training for postgraduate clinical psychology trainees. The successful applicant will be a valued member of our programme team, working closely with the clinical coordinator, clinical tutor team and other members of the clinical psychology programme. As a clinical tutor, you will be involved in teaching, marking of clinical practice related coursework, placement monitoring, trainee pastoral support and supervision of doctoral clinical psychology research projects.

The successful applicant will be based in the School of Psychology and Social Work, which is a vibrant and interdisciplinary School delivering high quality teaching and research in Psychology, Social Work, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Clinical Psychology, within the Faculty of Health Sciences. The Faculty of Health Sciences comprises five schools: School of Nursing and Midwifery, School of Psychology and Social Work, School of Sports, Exercise and Rehabilitation Sciences, School of Paramedical, Peri-Operative and Advanced Practice and the Hull York Medical School which includes the Centre for Biomedicine. The University has a reputation for world-class, innovative multi-disciplinary research in healthcare and social work, which addresses regional, national and global issues in the health sciences field. The Faculty of Health Sciences contains a number of research centres and groups, including the Social and Psychological Research in Long-term conditions group (SPARC). The salary is paid at NHS agenda for change scale band 8a.
We are particularly keen to encourage candidates with additional qualifications in Systemic Family Therapy or Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy to apply for the post.
